Performance
The phone has quite good performance, changing screen or open an application is doing well almost without lagging. Benchmarked with Linpack, it scored MFLOPS: 3.999 far away from hi-end phone 50.000+.
Full benchmark with Quadrant SE scored 489, above SE Xperia X10i and below HTC Desire.
GPS
GPS is the most disappointing feature. It hardly locked the GPS satellite. Your position can still tracked when wireless network option is enabled for location setting, but it so not accurate (about 500-600 m).
Display
With 240×320 resolution it can display 4×4 widget, as an illustration four rows of Google search widget.
Bad idea if you take the phone directly under the sunlight. It almost unreadable.
Keyboard
Since this is my first time using touchscreen, it needs some time to adapt. My suggestion use Swype keyboard, since it can remembered what we write before if it’s not in dictionary.
Camera
Since it only 2 MP camera so the quality is not too impressive. Panorama mode is available.
Social Network
Social feature optionally can be integrated to existing contact and calendar feature. Such as GMail and Facebook contact integrated with phone contact. Google Calendar and Facebook Events integrated with phone calendar.
Connection
After install driver and Kies software for Samsung phone, you can easily attach phone to computer with USB and start share folder just like flash drive. The USB cable can also function as charger. The port for USB cable and main charger is the same. From Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection also no problemo.
Application
What makes Android popular one of it is various apps that available in market. You can extend the standard function in phone into more function with free. You can open document word, excel, or pdf; access server in network from Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; remote server/computer with GUI or terminal way; organize financial or activity integrated with cloud service; read news or blogging on the go; or get study with engineering apps. And it can all can be done with multi-tasking capability on Android.
